Nominations from the members are\nsubmitted to the local chapters, whose leadership then selects nominees to be\npresented to the Special Awards Committee for consideration. The Committee is\nmade up of a chairman appointed by the AIA Kentucky president, the presidents\nof the three local chapters, and one representative of each chapter who must\nhave been an AIA member for at least 15 years.
