Using this information, session participants will be able to demonstrate how FRP girts can be used for a cladding support structure and simultaneously create a thermally efficient wall. Participants will be able to define continuous insulation (CI) systems per ASHRAE 90.1 and differentiate FRP CI systems vs. traditional steel girt systems. Finally, participants will be able to obtain the necessary design resources to integrate FRP CI systems in future projects.
