Award of Merit: Park Hill Pre-K School Renovations

King + King Architects was asked to transform the 16,000 square foot 1960\u2019s-era wing into a modern, innovative, and safe 21st century learning environment. Because the building serves a very specific age group, the design team focused on creating fun and engaging spaces conducive to the needs of a 2, 3, and 4-year-old population. Colors were carefully coordinated both inside and out through wall paint, flooring, furniture, and more for a cohesive look, but to also help define different programmatic functions within spaces and assist young students in wayfinding.
