Description
Senait Kassa, AIA, is a senior project manager with Trapani Architects. She is an architect and planner who firmly believes in the need for exposure and engagement to develop a well-rounded perspective and apply creative solutions. With over twenty years of experience, she has worked on various building types, including multifamily residential, hospitality, commercial, manufacturing, and logistics facilities. She is excited to embark on a new chapter in the healthcare industry. A passionate advocate for community engagement and professional development, she has volunteered for and served on the boards of various organizations. She is the 2023 President of the Central Kentucky Chapter of AIA and has been a board member for five years. She was a founding board member for the Louisiana Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects in 2010 and served the Chapter in various capacities for five years. She has volunteered with Takoma Park Crossroads Farmers Market, Md., and the Greater New Orleans Water Collaborative, supporting a new approach to managing stormwater after Hurricane Katrina. Most recently, she is a founding board member of the SoBro Neighborhood Association, which aims to revitalize the area into a vibrant and safe live/work community adjacent to Downtown Louisville, Ky.
