Description
Michele Grace Hottel, AIA, has been practicing Architecture with her firm, Michele Grace Hottel, Architect since 1994, after working as a consultant with other Architecture and Engineering firms in the Los Angeles and San Diego area. She attended Cal Poly, Pomona, and the University of Copenhagen (DIS) for Architecture. Michele is on the AIA CRAN National Advisory Group and is the past Chair of the local CRAN Chapter and was Chair of the Committee for AIA California's Inaugural Housing Forum. She was a Subject Matter Expert for the California Architects Board CSE. and was a City of La Mesa Planning Commissioner for twelve years. One can read her blog and listen to her podcast, "I've never met a woman architect before..." a blog about my life..., the trials and tribulations, as one could say, of being a woman, a mother, an ex-wife, a volunteer, a public servant, and last but not least, an architect.
