Established in 2015, this program is named in memory of Paula Maynes, AIA, past President of AIA Pittsburgh \u0026 a member of the Board of AIA PA before her death in March 2015. Paula was from Corning NY, received her B.Arch. from Carnegie-Mellon University, \u0026 opened her firm with her husband in the 1990\u0027s. As noted on the AIA PA website, Paula inspired many architects with a legacy of mentorship, service to the profession, a stellar work ethic and a calm, collaborative nature. The Paula Maynes Grant awards $705, the cost of 3 of the 6 ARE sections, to 3 architects in training each year. AIA PA contributed $1,410, allowing two future architect to take the exams."]]]]}
