Lynn spent his youth golfing, creating mischief with \u0022the boys\u0022 (lifelong friends), and was an East High champion swimmer."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Following a year in the National Guard, Lynn served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico City, Mexico. He developed a deep love for the people he served and would return to Mexico on several occasions."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Lynn was determined to become an architect from a young age. He pursued this passion by earning a bachelor\u0027s degree in business and a master\u0027s of architecture from the University of Utah. Lynn played a crucial role in the family business, the Woodbury Corporation, contributing significantly to his community through his work with many schools and charitable organizations."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"On June 5, 1978, Lynn married his sweetheart, Cecily Elaine Carter, in the Salt Lake City temple. They were sealed for time and all eternity and welcomed three beautiful children into the world: Michael, Elizabeth, and Chelsea."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"In 1985, Lynn suffered a spinal cord injury in a trampoline accident, which left him paralyzed for 38 years. Despite the challenges this brought, he maintained his optimism and never allowed his injury to define him.
