Granary Campus Tour with YAF and NOMA

Located in Salt Lake City\u2019s Granary District, the Granary Campus is a recently completed adaptive reuse project focused on community building through a shared enthusiasm for outdoor recreation. "]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"The tour will be guided by Warren Lloyd and Aaron Day from Lloyd Architects, the firm responsible for overseeing the project\u2019s design. The construction involved a significant transformation of five buildings constructed between 1891 and 1958 as a power plant and trolley-car space for Salt Lake Rapid Transit \u2013 once of Utah\u2019s earliest electrified trolley systems. The historic masonry and timber warehouse buildings now host EVO\u2019s flagship retail store, an EVO hotel with 85 beds, All Together indoor skatepark, Salt Lake Bouldering Project, Level Nine Sports, an art gallery, and creative office space. The project involved a full seismic retrofit of the buildings, refinish of all existing materials, integration of new structural mezzanine spaces, and new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The project\u2019s awards include the 2022 Preservation Utah Community Stewardship Award and Utah Construction and Design\u2019s Most Outstanding Adaptative Re-Use Award.
