Graciela Carrillo, AIA, senior manager at Nassau BOCES in Garden City, NY, serves as the AIA New York State representative for the AIA National Strategic Council, past president of the AIA Long Island Chapter, and the co-founder and co-chair of AIA Long Island's Women In Architecture Committee. She is one of the co-founders of the Immigrant Architects Coalition and recipient of both the 2019 AIA NYS Young Architect Award and 2022 AIA Young Architects Award and honored as one of 2021's Top 50 Women in Business in Long Island for her unwavering commitment, fearlessness, and tireless advocacy for emerging professionals, especially women and immigrants in the profession.
