The school design is contemporary with subtle\nreferences to the oil industry history of Burkburnett. "]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"The entire school is organized around a\ncirculation spine that connects all elements of the school. Adjacent to the\nfront entry, the administration area is on one side of the spine, and\ncafetorium with stage and kitchen is on the other side. The cafetorium is\npaired with the gym and separated by an operable wall allowing both spaces to\nbe combined for special activities and presentations. The gym opens out to a large covered porch for outdoor play. \n"]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"The next stops along the spine are the special\neducation spaces on one side and the library on the opposite side. The library\nopens to an outdoor learning space. The circulation spine terminates at two\nspecial learning environments shared by the entire school, an amphitheater with\ntiered seating and a collaboration space with flexible seating. The spaces are\nat the center of the three classroom wings which are organized in a pinwheel\narrangement. Each classroom wing serves a grade level and has 8 standard\nteaching classrooms, a shared STEM lab, and shared science room. The science room in each classroom wing is also a storm\nshelter. The music and art rooms serve as the storm shelters for the\nadministration and special education classrooms. All learning spaces have smart projectors\nand are served by wired and wireless data networks."]]]]}
