MSU Broad Art Museum Celebrates 10 Years

The museum will be hosting a range of public programs in order to commemorate the museum\u2019s history throughout the month of November. "]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Museum Interim Director Steven Bridges said a main focus of the anniversary celebration is an exhibition of Zaha Hadid\u0027s work \u2013 the architect of the building."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"\u201cThis whole year has really been focused on a number of special initiatives for us,\u0022 Bridges said. \u0022We opened the year with a major commission by artist Beverly Fishman, who did a major exhibition about our collection. And then currently, we have the largest retrospective of Zaha Hadid\u0027s design work that\u0027s ever been mounted and certainly ever been mounted within her own architecture. So it\u0027s an incredible exhibition that we\u2019re very proud of and really leaning into our relationship with Zaha Hadid and her legacy as a part of this anniversary celebration."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"\u201dOn Nov. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m., the museum is hosting \u2018An Evening with Craig Kiner of Zaha Hadid Architects Stanley and Selma Hollander Distinguished Lecture Series.\u0027 The lecture series will discuss the process and inspiration behind the architecture and design of the building.
