Along with a\nbetter understanding of the perspective of the design and construction industry\n\u2013 what\u2019s going well, and what\u2019s not, with regard to accessibility. Examine how\ndesigners get people with disabilities to be an early part of the design process.\nActionable items such as local resources for designers\/builders to reach out."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"\u201cThe\nValue of Accessibility\u201d \u2013 Recognize how accessibility and inclusion can be a\npriority in the design process, and what does value mean. Identify the tangible\nand intangible values of barrier-free design. Answer the question of \u201cWhy would\nwe go beyond compliance?\u201d Recognize how other sectors apply a beyond compliance\napproach, and what is the business benefit."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"\u201cMultifamily\nHousing with Universal Appeal\u201d \u2013 Examine how universal design can be more\nsignificant in multifamily housing projects. Review policy changes, and what people\ndo to change those policies for action now, and ongoing.
