Its size was tailored\nto the students, who are under four feet tall. The gable\u2019s shape results in low\neaves that assist in reducing the building\u2019s scale, and the windows throughout\nthe building are all child-height. The classroom is a vaulted\nspace accommodating between 12 and 15 students. There, abundant daylight\nstreams in through a continuous skylight along the roof\u2019s peak, tempering the\nTexas sun through a series of vertical light baffles. At different moments\nthroughout the year, small patches of sunlight dapple the floor, while the\nlight is diffuse and indirect at others.
