AIA remembers former EVP/CEO Norman Koonce, FAIA

A Louisiana native and graduate of Louisiana State\nUniversity\u2019s School of Architecture, Koonce served as AIA\u2019s EVP\/CEO from 1999\nto 2005. Prior to his time in AIA leadership, he served as president of the\nAmerican Architectural Foundation, where he oversaw a restoration of the\nhistoric Octagon House. He was the 1998 recipient of AIA\u2019s Edward C. Kemper\nAward for continued and significant service to the organization and winner of\nAIA Louisiana\u2019s Medal of Honor in 2000. In 2005, his alma mater instituted an\n"],[0,[0],1,"endowed scholarship"],[0,[],0," in his name.
