DSPS will consider the public hearing comments in developing its final code recommendations for legislative review. The goal is to have the new Wisconsin Commercial Building Code in place by September 1. The department already has announced that it will eliminate the proposed rollback in automatic sprinkler requirements for multifamily dwellings in the final code update package. AIA Wisconsin supports updating state building code provisions to incorporate the 2015 editions of the ICC model building codes. Other comments addressed proposals related to requirements for guard rails at the roof of buildings, drinking fountains, community-based residential facilities, storm shelters, and energy conservation."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[0],1,"Wisconsin Testimony"]]]]}
