A crowd of 70 enthusiastic members, sponsors and guests picked almost 5 bushels of heavy Eastern Shore crabs, caught that morning in tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, and steamed to perfection. A festive atmosphere and gentle riverfront breeze provided the perfect setting to enjoy the spicy crustaceans, as well as barbecued chicken and sides and cold beverages. The icing on the cake was entertainment throughout the evening by the ambassadors of \u0022The Maritime Republic of Eastport\u0022, the Eastport Oyster Boys.
