The surge space in\nthe List Center would accommodate a series of renovation projects planned on\nthe historic campus; the first was the Literature and Creative Writing\nDepartment. Maintaining the design aesthetic of exposed concrete walls and floors\nand large expanses of glass while improving the building\u2019s energy efficiency was\nparamount.
