For more than a decade, he\nhas been a project architect for Ferraro Choi and Associates, widely recognized\nas Hawaii\u2019s leading sustainability firm and the recipient of multiple COTE Top\nTen Awards. His work has evolved to include cultural and organizational\nsustainability for mission-driven nonprofits that benefit Native Hawaiians. In 2021, Takeuchi was\nelected knowledge director of the Young Architects Forum and created bimonthly\nnewsletters that reached hundreds of young professionals and developed webinars\nin partnership with the AIA Committee on Design and the College of Fellows.\nPerhaps his most significant accomplishment was planning and organizing the Mini\nMBA at A\u201922 in Chicago, which drew more than 300 participants who received\ncritical financial tools for business sustainability.
