Entries may include the preservation, renovation, restoration, rehabilitations,\nreconstruction, and\/or adaptive re-use of any single building or group of buildings\nthat are either listed in the National Register of Historic Places; or a\ncontributing property in a National Register of Historic Places listed district;\nor designated as historic property under an official municipal, county, special\ndistrict or state designation, law, ordinance or resolution either individually\nor as a contributing property in a district; or determined eligible by a State\nHistoric Preservation Officer for listing in the National Register of Historic\nPlaces, either individually or as a contributing property in a district. Projects submitted may be located\nanywhere in the world but must have been completed within the immediate past\nfive calendar years. Entries may include buildings or groups of buildings of\nany type within the 2 subcategories. Entries must demonstrate the successful\nuse of design elements, techniques, materials, and\/or other strategies that\nhave a positive effect on the natural environment. Examples are projects that\nreduce waste, save water and\/or energy, use renewable materials or resources,\nreduce the use of fossil fuels, etc. Projects must have been granted or fully\napplied for LEED certification or other \u201cgreen\u201d building designations\/program\nsuch as those offered by Green Globes, Florida Green Building Coalition, or\nother nationally or regionally established program."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[0,1],2,"Interiors"]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"This award recognizes outstanding examples of recent, commissioned\narchitectural building interiors. Entries must be commissioned for compensation\non behalf of a client. Construction must not be substantially complete prior to\nthe deadline for receipt of entries. Any individual who has been a member of AIA for a minimum of\n10 years is eligible. The individual\u0027s long-term, noteworthy accomplishments in\nthe AIA, as well as community organizations or governmental bodies, must\ndemonstrate distinguishable results characterizing one\u0027s career in a manner\nover and above what is normally expected.
