The course of study at RPI gave me a thorough\nfoundation in theory and technology. I even elected to take several additional\ntheory courses, including in music and philosophy. Despite my love of theory,\nto truly grasp all the nuances I felt I needed to gain some practical\nexperience. I began working at ArchWorks, PC, in Glens Falls, NY during my 5"],[0,[0],1,"th"],[0,[],0,"\nyear where I was given the opportunity to work on multiple projects ranging\nfrom small-scale libraries to large-scale school projects. I continued working there until 2011, when I\ndecided to move to Paramus, NJ to work at a small firm as a Project\nCoordinator. "]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"After a few more years of working in an office I decided to\nreturn to academia. I chose to pursue a\nMA in History and Critical Thinking at the Architectural Association in London.\n While at the Architectural Association,\nmy research focused influence technology has on\nthe methods of architectural practice. Specifically, drawing on my experience\nto try to better understand how we visualize space."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Upon completing my studies, I\nreturned home and started working at CSArch. While at CSArch I have concentrated on K-12\nprojects, one project in particular being my former school district. Being able\nto give back to the community in a meaningful way is one of the main reasons I\ndecided to become an architect. Though\nthis is my first-year volunteering with AIAENY as secretary, volunteering as\nalways been a part of my life. As my\nparents taught me, the greatest disservice we can do to ourselves, and our\ncommunity, is to decline to share our knowledge.
