{"version":"0.3.0","atoms":[],"cards":[],"markups":[],"sections":[[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"I started my education at Herkimer County Community College because\nI didn\u2019t know I wanted to become an Architect until my senior year of high\nschool and needed to take courses in order to build a portfolio to apply for Architecture\nSchool. This afforded me the ability to\nwork at a local architecture firm on a part time basis during the school year\nand during the summer months. After\nHerkimer, I transferred to Syracuse University School of Architecture and graduated\nwith a Bachelor of Architecture degree. \nAfter graduation in 1997, I worked for two years at the Jersey Shore on\nLong Beach Island designing Shore homes and custom residential developments in\nMedford, NJ. I decided to come back to Upstate\nNY in 1999 and worked for many years with Scott Townsend at Townsend Associates\nwhich later became a part of Vollmer Associates LLP. In 2007 I joined EYP\/ and worked for 10 years\non Higher Education projects and many large-scale US Federal Government Projects\nin Germany and the Middle East. In 2017,\nI decided to join CSArch to diversify my experience working on K-12 Education\nprojects. Currently I\u2019m the Senior Project\nArchitect on the $150 million dollar Albany High School Renovation Project. I began volunteering at the AIAENY in late\n2017 and became VP of Programs in 2018. \nThe reason for me to begin volunteering with the AIA was simple; I\nwanted to give back. I wanted to repay\nall of the people that helped me along my journey in this profession. As President this year, my hope is to continue\nthe growth begun by my predecessors and pass along a strong and vibrant chapter\nto my successor."]]]]}
