Resilient community volunteers and AIA Southwest Wisconsin\nmembers were recruited to assist the SAP-trained architects."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"The AIA RASTeam moved on to Black Earth on Tuesday afternoon\nand Wednesday and to Cross Plains on Friday and Saturday."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"In less than a week, these volunteers completed a total of\n547 safety assessments of residential and commercial buildings in these three\nhard-hit Dane County communities."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Overall, 20 volunteers worked a total of 333 hours over five\ndays onsite in the three communities, conducting and supporting safety\nassessments of damaged structures. In addition, each three-person assessment\nteam included a local leader as a community liaison. One-day SAP training has been offered by AIA Wisconsin\nover the past few years."]]],[1,"p",[[0,[],0,"Additional trained volunteers will be needed for disaster\nemergencies in the future.
