Jillian Storms, AIA, MD State Department of Education, and curator of "],[0,[1],1,"AIABaltimore\u0027s Equity Committee Early Women of Architecture in Maryland"],[0,[],0," exhibit, brought this fascinating exhibit to the Eastern Shore to highlight the personal and professional histories of twelve trailblazing women who practiced in Maryland at a time when very few women had entered the profession. Her lecture at the Center on July 14th focused on two whose works can be found on the Eastern Shore of Maryland: Chloethiel Woodard Smith, FAIA, and Victorine du Pont Homsey, FAIA. The August lecture was presented by Janice Olshesky, AIA, President of "],[0,[2],1,"Olshesky Design Group"],[0,[],0,", and again focused on the work of Smith and Homsey. AIA members earned 1.5 AIA LUs for attending the lectures, and networked with public visitors and supporting Allied Members of AIA.
