Noteshelf works with several smart pressure-sensitive\nstyluses, apple pencil, and the developers plan to support additional ones in\nthe future. It offers common export features,\nsuch as email, print, and several cloud-based options. There is the ability to\nimport images and PDFs, and to mark up PDFs and then save them as copies. The\napp is updated on a fairly regular basis, and the online support is very good. An issue of greater concern is\nthe limit when exporting to only five images or 20 pages of PDF-format files.\nThis occurs only when exporting via email, but it\u0027s still not fun. A workaround\nis to export to Dropbox and email from there, but that adds a whole other step\nto the process. Although the app does offer wrist protection, it can be spotty,\nwhich is not very helpful when you\u0027re in the middle of an intense note-taking\nsession. The last item that should be corrected: Once placed, images cannot be\nmodified. All editing must be performed prior to placement in the notebook.\nAgain, this is easily addressed by deleting and re-inserting, but the\nadditional effort should not be required.
